A SPACE WHERE YOU CAN FEEL UNDERSTOOD

Maybe you’ve been holding a lot on your own.
You love your partner, but something feels off. You feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how things got this way.
You’ve tried to communicate… but it doesn’t seem to land the way you hope.
You’re not alone — and this doesn’t have to stay this way.
I help women in relationships make sense of what they’re feeling, communicate more clearly, and begin to rebuild connection — whether that starts with you or together as a couple.
Together, we’ll slow things down, understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and create a path forward that feels right for you.
My work is grounded in research-based approaches, including the Gottman Method, but what matters most is how we use those tools in a way that feels real, supportive, and meaningful for you.
This isn’t about blame or “who’s right.” It’s about understanding patterns, strengthening communication, and creating a relationship that feels safe and connected again.

ABOUT
Hi, I’m Mailén.
I created Northern Lights Therapy as a space where women in relationships can feel understood, supported, and not so alone in what they’re going through.
As a therapist, I bring a calm, supportive presence to each session. I believe in creating a space where you can be honest, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing — without judgment.
My goal is to help you feel more confident, more grounded, and more connected — both within yourself and in your relationship.
I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and National Certified Counselor (NCC), with training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.
